S S asked:
I just cleaned the heater at home – I just used dry tissue and a vacuum.I was very careful about leaving tissue residue anywhere in the heater. After cleaning it, I screwed the grill back on. I turned on the heater and it seems like smoke is coming out of it? What should I do? What did I do wrong?

Thanks.

Chances are you got some dust on the element, and it is burning off. Turn it on and stay with it. The stuff should burn of in a very short time. If something major is wrong, you can pull the plug or turn it off.
