HOWEVER, WHY DONT YOU REPLACE THE HEATER CORE AND BE DONE WITH IT ?
THEY SHOULD RUN ABOUT $40 FOR A NEW ONE AND TAKE YOU A FEW HOURS AND A 6 PACK AND YOU ARE DONE

i’ve got one of the little 12 volt heaters. they are junk! fix the heater core, thats you’re best option.
