We just bought a 1900s fixer. Currently it uses a wood stove to heat the entire house ( 2 stories, 900+ sq each). Other than using portable space heaters for the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom, what are some suggestions for heat? The house has natural gas piped to it. Eventually I would like to get away from the wood stove, but my budget will be tight for the next year or two, in order to fix up the rest of the house. Thank you for your ideas!!!
